What is intalled on removing the small cats off of the manifolds, cut them off yeah what about the sensors what do I do about them? Wont I trigger a code to pull up or something what do I do, please help.

Assuming this vehicle is for OFF-ROAD ONLY, you could gut the cats if they are bad. That's what I did with my Town Car (It's a 1987 but had the 4 cat system 2 on each bank)

Got emissions in your state? Just leave it alone. Or just take that pipe down, cut off the cats, replace the cats with a piece of measured out straight pipe AT THAT ANGLE (It's very important the angles stay the same, or your connections after them will not be right)

You actually have to separate the driver's side cat(cut it off). Then you have to have 02 bungs welded onto a piece of straight pipe.

Exactly. That's the best way IMHO - I don't know of any aftermarket for thoes pipes...

Srry man :(

Oh and to answer whether you will trigger a code or not.... Assuming you have a 95(pre obd2), then you only have 2 02 sensors BEFORE the cats. If you had an obd2 car, i think you might get a code due to the after cat 02's?

i had mine taken off and i dont get any codes or problems with passing emissions my main cat is a high flow thats it

How much did it run you to get them removed?

OK so all I do Is cut them off and reinsert them into a pipe that takes the place of the cats? Its a 95 so there before the cat idk do they have to go back, the sensors.

And another thing, lol, will I need to get my car tuned if I cut out the 2 small cats and muffers out back will that require a tune? J-mod VS. Chip for better shift points which is the cheaper of the 2 and best for the tranny, thanks.

I already have full 2.5" exhaust. Im just looking to get rid of the cats. And considering that our exhaust manifolds are NOT cast iron, we can weld new flanges on them. right?

The new cats flow good up to at least 450hp. Unless your planning huge power you will lose alot of low end if you drop them or "gut" them. Big gears and converter will help though.

What is the purpous of removing the cats anyway?
Its all about the db's. Im going to install a 4.10 in a few weeks anyways, so I'll be good.
