replacing air bag module

I got the replacement from a 95 mrk8 which the bags were blown from that car. However before i plug this thing in to my 94 will there be any chance of this thing exploding my bags, since the the last thing this particular module ever did was employ bags?

it will not explode in your face. You will might have to replace the airbag sensors and air bag computer though. Expect to pay 1.0 hour at the ford dealership to get them to reset your air bag light as well. Make sure the batters is disconnected (for at least 10 minutes) before you plug in the new airbag though. That way you dont run the chance of having a short.
