replacing air bags(front)

Any other bags compared to what?

The last thread you posted has good sources for parts.

These are your best bet for good parts. you could also try e-bay to get some salvaged parts, but your kinda shooting yourself in the foot by replacing bad parts with soon to be bad parts. (depending on the mileage of the replacment.)

Buy new 2nd Gen struts. Heck, you car is 12 years old. Not bad for a pair of shocks. Rears last even longer. Plenty of deals out there for new struts.

Struts on eBay are usually sold by Strutmasters or Struts R Us...

I know that, BUT, you can find people who are parting thier car out, and selling the front struts.

awhile back i orded for american air and i got the parts rather fast and i think i got the uesd/rebuilt ones but they felt new to me and i went to the local ford dealership and got them installed for $136 total
i think each bag was 150 @American air
when and if you do get it replaced ask them to replace the big bolt i think is what you are suppost to do to prevent it from rusting

at the same time i got the spider extreem and moudlator 8
both i have yet to install :|
but i hear good things on the spider to prevent futher problems

you got a Lincoln why would you even want chep parts on it

thnx for the inputs and yes lincolns do roc and i was just wondering if maybe someone out here was parting out or maybe replace their bags with the conversion kit and had them laying around in their garage somewhere ... again thnx for the input

I saw some on ebay from suspension-alternatives...they look just like strutmasters.

I have done business with American Air Suspension. Eddie is a former Ford Master tech...no one in the business knows these air ride systems better. Now he sells parts for them...

That's like buying aircraft parts from a former NASA engineer who used to fix the space station. Oh, and he's a great guy too...
