I checked out my CD manual to find out how to replace the door cable inside my driver's door - but there was nothing. Does anyone have a how to? Has anyone done this before?

Take the door panel off and have a look. It can't be all that involved.

Should be in your manual, dosn't sound fun,... says, "The inside handls, cable, latch assembly, power actuator rod, lock cylinder rod and lock/ unlock rod must be removed as a unit"...

No, I don't see anything on the cable itself, sounds like you might need the latch loose though...

once you get the handle off the door look at how the cable is attached its simple to do but hard to explain, the other end on the latch is attached the same way, its not hard dont worry and you will be fine

Remote Control Assembly—Inside Handle
Removal and Installation
Remove front door trim panel (23942) and watershield.
Remove rivets retaining front door latch remote control and link (21818) to front door (20124).
Disconnect front door latch remote control and link from front door latch (21812).
To install, reverse Removal procedure.

I would just get a bolt slightly smaller than the bit you use to drill the rivets out. Just make sure it's not long as hell so it does'nt interfere with other things.
