I have a 1994 Lincoln mark VIII with a JBL sound system. I have an amp and subwoofers already. I'm trying to put in a Duel(Duel is the brand) mp3/wma cd receiver XDM260. I pulled the stock stereo out and unplugged everything. I bought a stereo connector from walmart, the two power cords from my car connect just fine but then there are 2 extra places to plug into on the connecter. My speakers are all wired together in one plug but it doesn't fit in any of the connecter, and there are two wires tapped together that I have no idea what are for, one is a pink/white wire and the other is blue. I tried figuring out what they were for so I plugged everything back into the stock radio and everything works just fine without these two wires.

So my questions are, what are these two wires for? And how in the world do I hook this new stereo in? It says I need a scosche FAI-3a interface. Can anyone please help me? I can post any pictures you need.

Thank you

i bet the instructions for the radio would tell you what the wires are for.

1. buy the Scosche FDK4B.

2. connect the same color wires.
3. done.
