My son will soon be ready to take to the streets. I have retired my "Bebe" Lincoln to the barn (with a heavy heart), until Cody is ready for her. I feel that he will be very safe in my Bebe and she will keep him safe.

Here is Bebe's replacement. Really wanted a Navigator or Escalade, but finances wouldn't allow it. I am very happy, but sad at the same time.

Nope, not a thing. She's really lonely though. LOL

Thought of selling her outright, but just can't do it. She only has 81k, and solid as a rock. My son will get his drivers permit next June (at age 14) and I want him to have a safe, nice car to start with. He can drive me around in it for two years for experience. We also have an '81 Jeep CJ8 Scrambler for him, but I feel better starting him out in the Lincoln. :steering

No offense, but please don't give him that Scrambler any time soon! He's lucky enough as it is getting a car as nice as a Lincoln for his first ride. Giving a Jeep to a young man is asking for trouble; trust me, I speak from experience. Especially one as cool and rare as a CJ8. I hope he realizes how luck he is!

I have no intentions of letting Cody get his hands on the Jeep for a long, long time if at all. We have just had the engine rebuilt, and I don't think my husband would give it up for a million dollars! LOL Here's a picture of it with the hardtop on, have the bikini top on now, and we also have a full hardtop that covers the bed.
