RIP CL55, Hello New LS

Hello everyone. I just wrote a rather lengthy illustrated backstory in the LS section detailing how my previous car was wrecked while I was visiting family for the holidays, and how I just bought a 2003 Lincoln LS V8. That thread still awaiting approval from the mods, but once it's approved you can read it in all it's glory if War and Peace didn't occupy enough of your time. For the shortened version, I'll just post some pictures:

You may have noticed both cars have a star on the grille and a good amount of power, hence the name StarPower.

I'm going on deployment later this year, so I didn't want to buy anything too expensive just to let it sit while I'm gone. I also didn't have a lot of time to travel around looking at high end vehicles, and I didn't want to be rushed into a purchase like that.

I thought about just getting a beater, but I wanted something I'd enjoy driving. I've always had a thing for the sportier Lincolns (especially Mark VIII's and LS's), and the LS was the perfect combination of nice and cheap. It's not the CL, but it's still a great car (I really love the color too).

I actually paid less to buy my LS than I paid to maintain my CL55 last year. Nothing major happened to the CL (before the accident), but normal wear and tear items that happen to any 7 year old car are a lot more expensive on an AMG.
