It was a tough afternoon yesterday ....

Cassie's little girl went to rest ...

Only 6 years old but was suffering from Lymes which lead to kidney failure ...
Was tough watching as she drifted off...

Picked her up on a whim as a 16th B-day present for Cassie. Found her in Columbus, OH where she got her first ride in a Mark VIII ...

Sorry to hear that, had to put my cat down last summer, he was with us for 16 years, it aint fun, but we have a new puppy!

Yup, we're sorry to hear about Jazzy! She was a very nice dog.

I agree Jazzy will be missed at the Beach Party, she greeted everyone and wanted to play tug tug with most of us. Cassie i know its tough on you right now but be strong you will always have the memories of Jazzy. I will miss you alot Jazzy.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I lost my first golden retriever at 6 to cancer, it's hard to lose pets but even worse when they're taken sooner than expected.

That sucks man... my dog is 13 years old... I'm not looking forward to that one...

It was a hard day and a hard thing to do ... I felt like an executioner all day ... as the clock ticked down ... then I'm walking home knowing what I had to do with every step getting close to her end ...

Jazzy came to meet me at her usual spot tail wagging then she stumbled and limped and I knew that it still had to happen...

After that having to go out and dig the hole before we left ... ahhhhh....

It was hell ...

Don't want to do it again ... let's just hope Coal has a few more years .. but he's only 2...

I'm sorry to hear that, but I know how you feel. When our dog got sick awhile back it hit me harder than I ever thought it would. We haven't had her a year yet but she's such a permanent fixture now. It's amazing how much joy a pet can bring to your life.
