Rocker Noise

Anyone have Rocker noise when You first start your 3.0 LS. When i first start it, it sounds like a diesel for like a minute, then goes away. I tried putting LUCAS in it to boost oil pressure and maybe wuiet some engine noise , but no matter what it is still there, Any suggestions?

Use a better oil filter.

x2, your oil filter is letting the oil sitting in the system to bleed back into the pan, thus starting dry, I recommend wix filters

Is it Fram?

Boosting oil presser by raising the viscosity is not the way to go.

I dont know what kind of filter is on there, i took it to get an oil change at the local repair shop cause i hate doing it, i just had it done at the dealership yesterday, let me see how it sounds now
