and I must say that I like the LS MUCH more. The CTS was small on the inside, and I'm a pretty big guy (6'3" 250). The dash design was my biggest complaint. It comes down too low, and my SHINS! were planted in it. The seats were very narrow, and I just felt cramped. NICE build quality though.

It did ride nice, and you can't complain about GM motors. Torque right off the line.

It's a nice car, but I'll stick with my LS. :L

I test drove a used CTS 5-speed before purchasing my used LS 5-speed. Liked how the CTS drove, liked the price ($19,000 in 2003 for a 1 year old car with 11,000 miles) and wanted to like the car. The interior is what killed the deal. Everything I looked at inside seamed cheap. The rear seat did not fold down (making it difficult to take on ski trips).

Two months later I purchased a three year old LS with 37,000 miles for $16,800. So slightly cheaper for a much more used car, but I have been happy with it for two years and 34,000 miles. Great ride, nice interior, a little underpowered and an excellent transmission and clutch. Good (with the right tires) in the snow, it very slowly rotates and recovers very well when rotating. Starting out snow traction is typical RWD weak but all else is good including up winding snow covered hills.
