And closing the sunroof all at once! I thought the Rolling the windows down via remote was cool but a pain also cuz you have to manually close everything. Not so. Put the key in the drivers door and turn to lock. Hold for about 5 seconds and everything closes. Found this while browsing this forum. Geez the Lincoln manual sucks!!! LVC owns!!

Yeah, I found that out and used it once to see if it worked, then one other time and that was about it. Easier to just start closing them as you pull up to your destination rather than standing out in the heat for 15 seconds.

I see using it when Im working a 12 hour shift and I have all my windows down and sunroof open. Leave work, close them all and turn on the AC!!

The sales guy at the dealer showed me the windows up thing with the key, thus far the only time I've used it is when I've gotten out of the car locked the doors and turned around to look at the car only find all of the windows down.

I agree about the Lincoln manual. I didn't read about that either. It makes me wonder what other cool little secrets Lincoln is not telling us about. Hmmmm...

Rolling them down was in the 2004 manual. Rolling up is not in the 2004 manual. And they make no mention aboput the rain sensing wipers in 2004 either. I found looking in the 2003 manual.

well this was in the 2003 manual

"Closing all windows and moonroof (if equipped)Note: This operation is only available using the door key.You can close the vehicle’s windows and moonroof (if equipped) by usingthe door key.Turn the key toward the back of the vehicle and hold it for more thantwo seconds to begin to close all the windows and moonroof. This was in the favorite feature thread, it also works by holding down the lock or unlock remote key pad buttons. In fact it was my favoriate featured contribution to the thread!!

I wish they would have made this function available via the key fob. I learned about it by accident... no time to RTFM. My son, 3yrs old at the time, taught me about the roll down via the Fob while I was detailing the car. He had the remote and wa playing with the buttons.
