Roof Racks

Any know of the a roof rack system that will fit the Lincoln LS 2005?

I already own a Yakima roof rack from previous car.

I don't think that LS has a place to hook up the roof rack. I have seen one on a Jaguar S-type though..

Lincoln sells a roof rack for the LS. It is a Yakima rack with Lincoln logos on it. Unfortunately, it is somewhat difficult to install. Each of the four clips bolts onto the roof under the weatherstripping with nutserts. You have to pull back the weatherstripping, drill 4 holes per side and install the nutserts. After that, you can install and remove the rack by bolting and unbolting. Since it is a Yakima rack, it works with all Yakima mounts, accessories, etc.

The closest thing I've used to a roof rack is a soft rack to carry my surfboard when traveling.
