I have a 98 lincoln Navigator with 58k on it. I bought the car lowered and on 20s When I drive on the highway and hit any dips the car drives pretty rough not unbearable but kind of annoying. My check suspension light has never been on so I don't know if maybe that could be the problem or maybe if it is my wheels and tires. Its a 4x2 with 295/40/20. I know i can fit 2 fingers between the tire and fender, when the car is off and parked. If anyone can help me with this, it would be a big help. I was thinking maybe my tire size could be the issue. I will be changeing my rims probably to 22' or 24' but I would like to have this problem fixed before I make the change. I don't know if the pictures will help but here are 2.

I have a Beverly Hills Motorin Edition 98 nav. My nav has 20's on it. The bumpy ride may be more about your air suspension than anything. Also when it was lowered did they swap out the air ride and go to shocks? Mine is a 4x4 and it came with the air ride, but because of so many problems with air hose's dry rottening and what have you i switched and converted to shocks. The ride yes is bumper but no head aches with air ride. Also your check suspension light may be messed up..when people drop the navi, they dis engage the check suspension light, what i suggest is when u are dring around for a bit get out turn off truck and listen carefully for a leak...As far as 22's or 24's go, i say hold up on that, beecause u are going to get some tire rubbing on the fenders.

Thanks for the info. But no I don't really hear any noise fomr the air ride so maybe they did change to shocks. I have'nt had a chance to get in to a shop yet. I was planning on raiseing the car back up when I changed the rims.
