Check it out. I took the pics about a month ago, just haven't been on here much. I was on a sales call, after doing the business stuff the guy asks me if I'm a car guy since he saw what I was drivin. I said yeah sure Lincolns and Fords. He asks if I want to see a few....why not hey I had the time to kill. Try to guess some of the cars. There are 5 Lincolns, 2 real oldies that are hard to see as they are in the garage, and some other cool stuff, well they were cool.

The one looks like a mark III. Kind of hard to tell.... going by the mirrors.

maybe i missed it but where is that at? and ya that is kinda a bad deal

Oconomowoc WI near Milwaukee WI. Had a record snow winter, then alot of spring rain. Apparently this is the last of 5 lakes thats drain into, without a outlet. The water had been like that for awhile like I think he said 6 weeks, not dropping. It was going to have to be pumped out.

last pic looks like an old tractor right behind the center trees and grass, you can see the rear tire and part of the frame. man that sucks, specially all the water inside the garage too, flooded cars is one bad loss but everything inside the garage too? that blows. easy fishing though off the deck!

Well I haven't said what was in that garage bay farthest from me yet...its really sad. You can see the hood in the one pic of the one farthest away and the windshield in another pic of the one next to it. He showed me pics of it back when he drove it. You may cry when I tell you.

Also there was a car under us I couldn't get a picture of...foreign though.

I remember you talkin about this at the LVC meet. The pictures speak for themselves. I feel real sorry for that guy. Thanks for posting Jason.

uck those cars are done for, flood cars are nasty ive done estimates at work (some even on my own, 01 explorer sport)

how could anyone guess whats in the farthest bay when you cant see it in the pic, i see a piece of chrome trim lol, what do i win if i guess by that????

Furthest away is a 47 Lincoln, next to it a 56 MarkII, believe it or not....so sad. In the yard is 2 Vasailles sitting next to each other with the white Fox Conti in front of them. Several early 70s Diesel Benzs in the mix. Thats a Studabaker with the door open. A 39 BMW was under us. He even had a unfinished 55-57 Bird kit car on the floor above them, it was fine just dusty. Not that you can't replace that.

is he still staying up in the house? how the hell does he get to the stairs by canoe?

He is lucky, well not really but compared to some that lost all. That house is really a shop strictly for cars and he has wood workin stuff on the first floor. His home is on slightly higher land. He said he had 8 pumps running day and night in the that basement to keep it dry, or try too. He had to abandon the septic, had a porta potty delivered. At least he can stay at his home though. I haven't been back by, I just met him that day for the sales call. He did say stop by anytime to see how hes doing, but I haven't been by that way.

Is the water still there? How old were the pics?

Lake Dalton is still sitting in Spring Green, WI about an hour away from the actual lake...

Not sure. Pictures were from about 7 weeks ago. When I was there he said that they(not sure who) were finally going to take some action and pump it out. Where the water could go I don't know. Again this is the last lake of several and I have no idea how it got by without a outlet but there isn't one.

I guess I could stop by to see if he would give a true Lincoln lover that 56 MarkII. I just think it may be in poor taste to pop by. He was pretty sad about it. I wish I was there when the water was only to the floor boards. I would have said I'll be back and got my truck and chain even trailer to get those things to higher ground. He had bagged and was pumping the area out to keep it dry but the water just keep rising. Never has ever gotton close to this high he said. I imagine he thought it was going to stop and it didn't going way higher than he ever imagined.
