Brandon sorta has dibs, but if not interested anyone can buy it.

Its a four program chip. You can switch between programs on the fly. Setup for a 96 Mark VIII stock.

program #:
0 = Performance file with firm shifts
1 = same as above with stock shifts
2 = Program 0 plus 2 degrees more timing
3 = economy

It is tied to EBP2 for PCM code which I am very sure narrows it down to 96 only. This is NOT setup for a Cobra or Mach intake such as I have. Long story short this chip was the root of my issues. I have Advantage software now.

If you wish there are options to have the chip cleared so it can work on another PCM code.

Paid $310 two years ago asking $150.

with my performance file im supposed to get better fuel economy? What does the economy program do? Run on 87? I got the 4 bank sct switch chip as well. How did you mount your cable and switch? Thats a good price FTW

Who wrote the tunes on the chip?
And out of curiosity, does the economy tune really make a difference?

Hmmm... so a 96 VRCM for a chip? Is that what I am reading?

I dont know if my original buyer can use it anyway. But kid, your a pro-racer programer so you can.

it would be a good trade as far as "I" was concerned.
I think KK wants more than 150 for the vcrm though..(shruggs)

I think ke gold plated it or something after he pulled it out
(laughing grin)

If it were "ME" and I had a vcrm that wouldn't fit my car..I'd trade it for a part that DID fit my car in a heartbeat

it's a win win for everyone involved IMHO

I have a 96 and I might be interested in 2 weeks when I get home from a trip.

Do you know how much it cost to get it reflashed for a 95?

anywhere from 50-200.00 depending on what SCT dealer you get to tune it for you.
Can I suggest one? nope.... I tune mine myself.

But dont think you can "save" money buy doing it yourself.
The software and hardware to burn a chip is nearly 1000.00

Could you tune it for me?

in short, no.

you dont have enough money to make it worth my time to tune someone elses car.

If you got the software and the hardware to DIY, I wouldn't mind helping you thru the process.

But.. there is no way I would tune someone elses car, it's just far too much of a pain in the butt.

If you went thru the expenses to get the hardware and software I definately could get you pointed in the right direction, but I have no desire to tune your car.

Also, there are very respectable SCT dealers that visit this forum.
Many of them are close friends of mine who I respect greatly.

They paid ALOT of money, on the order of 10's of thousands of dollars to tune cars for a living.

It'd be very unkind of me to take money out of their pockets and tune your car for you.
