will they bolt right into the mark viii? he sure does have some nice engines but I have no idea if they would be a bolt in for our cars. who said something about the 2001 cobra being under 4000 too, I cant find that online, and the mach 1 engine with less:steering hp is more around 6000:headbang:

are you insane? why would you spend 4k for a lesser block, and 30 hp?

the 01 cobra has 320hp thats 30 more than the lsc came with

i think that was his point - you are spending 4k for 30 more hp and a better intake, basically.....might as well spend 400 dollars on nitrous.....or get an exhaust...

well my original point was to see if the sean hylands would bolt right in, they have a 350hp engine for not to bad a price, plus it would be a new motor, thats always nice to start from zero miles. I already have exaust done next is tranny work, but I was just wondering about the bolt in question.

Dude sometimes getting a straight answer from these guys is like pulling teeth without nitrous:mad: I would like the answer to the question as well, as I am looking to replace my engine too.

exactly, come guys someone has to know out of all of us!

you would think they'd bolt up. IIRC, all the 4.6 blocks have the same motor mount holes (on the block), and the same bellhousing bolt pattern... expcept for the 05 stick mustang, IIRC that's a different bolt pattern, but I am not 100% sure.

i do not see the motor, but if it s a modular 4.6 yes it will bolt up(thats the point of the mod motors)...you may need a diffrent flywheel, and if its set to run from a diffrent eec, you may be looking at a little work with making it compatible. also, if its a longblock/crate, make sure that the intake hight matches that of your stocker. fuel rails are about the only other thing i can think of in my current state of mind ::falls down sideways::
