Seat cover for pets? Anyone?

Guys, as we speak my car is getting custom re-upholstered seats. Spent a nice chunk of change to get the interior looking the way it will look tomorrow when I pick it up. Now, that being said, I DO NOT want to put seat covers on the car because that truly defeats the purpose of the nice new custom made seats. THEY LOOK NICE! However, 2,3 times per month I may take my dog out in the Mark VIII instead of in my truck, does anyone know of sometype of seat pad for dogs or something to that effect? Something that protects not only against his claws but his drool as well. I have a Labrador Retriever he sheds & drools all over my seats. I currently use an old bed sheet in my truck but that's not working as well as I thought.

I'd just get a thick blanket and drape it over the front seat (or the rear seat if the dog stays in the rear).

Simple solution and amazed Frogman didn't come up with this one.

Keep the Dog out of the Mark VIII and take the truck ... you spent too much on the seats ...
