Ok, now that you all have helped me with my Wheel lock issue.....

My passenger seat is busted. Meaning it is stuck, no power. You can push any of the buttons and nothing, not even any sounds. The drivers is fine, but the passengers is screwed. I have no owners manual, so I dont know which fuses to check, nor the lay out of the fuses.

I did a search, and found some info, but nothing on having a totally dead seat.

Do I need a new motorized seat base? Or just the switch? Or is there something else I need to check first.

Thanks again all.

Lou

Is anything on the rest of the car in working condition? lol j/k. But if that's the case you can fix that seat by picking up a different mark viii ;)

I'll go out n check my owners manual in a few mins while I have a smoke.

In the fuse panel inside the vehicle on the drivers side of the dash:

Fuse/CB/Relay Loc. #12

It's a "20A CB" fuse for:

-Fuel door release

-Power seats

-Ride control

-Trunk release

All in one.

I don't want to scan the diagram, but it's the larger rectangular one on the side most opposing the "circle" if you're looking so the circle is to your LH side. It has a 10A right next it towards the outside of the fuse block and the 10A is the last fuse on the outside, and runs virtical to the horizontal 20A CB that you need to be looking at.

If you're unsure, pull the one you think and see if your trunk release and/or fuel door release still works, if so it's the wrong one. Try again.

Hope this solves your problem, but if it's the fuse I'd think your drives would quit working also.

edit: Actually just see if your trunk release and fuel door buttons still work before you go pulling fuses, cause if they do then....... of course the fuse that runs the seats is still good.

Trunk release button works, Drivers seat works.

Fuel door button doesnt work, Passengers seat doesnt work.

Thanks

Lou
