Im looking to replace the seats in my 86 Mark, the back of the drivers seat is twisted to the right which needless to say is uncomfortable. Im assuming seats from any fox bodied cars from the same vintage will work but does anyone know of other seats that might bolt up either to my brackets or the floorpan? I used to have a 96 Continental and an 02 LS that had some of the most comfortable seats i've ever sat in, any ideas how much work it would take to get something like that in there and fully operational?

KindaSortaYeah.

From what you've typed, you'll be the most satisfied with leather Lincoln Mark VII Bill Blass seats.

Six nuts and two connectors.

Excellent, thank you. :) Did the leather Bill Blass seats have an option for adjustable lumbar support? Does anybody happen to have a set that they'd be willing to part with?

Only on the Luxury Sport Coupe (LSC) models.

The designer models 'didn't need no stinkin lumbar support' :)

When looking for parts, try the WANT TO BUY forums.

Imo

I bought a 98 Mark VII in Dallas. I drove it back to Wichita Kansas and my back was killing me. I got rid of it as fast as I could. This is my input in case you are considering 97-98 seats. I undersand the seats in the early Mark VIII were different from the later years. Just my opinion. I would find some other seat from a Fox platform.
