seat wont move any more

hi i just bought my 93 mark8 a week ago and the passenger seat moved just fine but today it wont move at all it will still tilt and air up but just not move back or forth any ideas on what the problem might be?

Check to see if power is coming from back of switch with a test light if no power suspect switch. I f you do have power more than likely motor.

It's just an old seat, and the motor has given out.

Unplug, use some CRC electronic cleaner and reconnect after about 1 minute of drying time.

Take it apart and clean it out, it'll probably work again...
