Hello Everyone,

The time has come for me to sell. I have had a 1996 Mark 8 LSC since July of 2009. I bought it with about 85,000 miles, I am the third owner. New job required me to have a pickup so I really don't have a need for the Lincoln anymore. Overall the car has been great. As with all older cars I have had to do some repairs, I wont list them all right now but anyone that is interested in the car can message me and I will go into detail. Of most importance to anyone that knows about these cars is that the Blend door actuator has been replaced and coil springs were put on. There is about 121,000 miles on the car right now. My father has been driving it to work to keep her from just sitting around. I am hoping to get some advice on the selling price of the car. The KBB value for the LSC package at 120,000 miles in good condition is about $3250 in Dallas, TX where I live. I would like to get $2750 for the car. Does that seem like a fair price? I will be posting on craigslist if nobody from the site messages me about it. As you can see there are some spots where the clear coat is fading so hopefully by taking the price down from 3250 to 2750 accounts for that. If anyone on here is interested please message me.

I don't want to do any long distance travelling to sell the car. I am in Dallas, TX but the car is in Austin, TX right now.

Thank you for reading, have a great day

I don't want to insult you. Just giving my opinion. Where I live, you would be lucky to get $1500. It needs a repaint, the interior looks pretty worn, and it looks as though it needs tires. Maybe clean it up a bit and get a steering wheel cover before posting on CL. Good luck with the sale.

Even if the paint was perfect I think you'd sit on it for a while before someone gave you almost 3k for it. I love these cars but they aren't worth jack.

the car has potential but definitely not worth your asking price.....I wouldn't pay more than 1k for it as she sits.....It needs paint which is 1k, it needs tires atleast 500 for a set, and it needs interior work which is another chunk of cash......lower the price if you want to sell it in here....if not like Rich said put it on craigslist or ebay.
