So I lowered the car this weekend. It went ok, but the front is higher than the rear, and I can't get the front to go any lower. So I figured I would just raise the rear a bit.....but today, I turned the car on and the front just started jacking up up up - it turned into a monster truck! I couldn;'t figure it out at first, drove it home like that, then when i got home i noticed that the front left height sensor had fallen out :O So I put it back on, but the car didn't lower!!! what do i do??????? Does it take a long time to lower?

First 2 pics are lowered, last pic is the disaster pic.

:eek2: hahahahaha LOLOLOL, I'm sorry its just funny looking , on the front sensors went the wrong way ,i just know you have to go the other way from the back, I think its up. Just move it in the other direction. Don't worry I did the same thing.

no, the sensor lowering went fine, but one of the sensors fell off the car today in the front - hence the raised front. i am just worried because it doesn;t seem to be coming back down after i reattached the sensor.

yeah, i know the car is dirty, but here in montreal the roads are covered in salt and water, so it doesn't make sense to wash it until the rains stop.

Ok well sorry not trying to make fun of yha. Well after you fix the sensor just try cycling the system and see what happens, we can go from there....

hehe i know you weree just joking. i have tried turning the air ride on and off, car on and off, nothing seems to make the front end go down. is there an emergency air release for the system somewhere?

well with rays kit i know you can, ummm senssor is on right, right? try setting it back to stock and then back again, try starting and turnning off your car play with the seitch a little? its kind of a hard one!

WOW!!! thats the highest I have ever seen!! Must qualify for some kind of record!!It looks like you have hydraulics on there! I don't know how to get it down, all I can say is WOW!!! :eek2:

You need to put the sensor back on and disconnect the batterry for a few minutes and then reconnect it.It should sense how high it is and lower it back down.

Man thats funny but I have seen it before, I dont mees with the ride height only because it will be I pain to fit a jack under it. so I bought rays kit

Unstoppable, your input here often goes un-appreciated. You diagnosed it, and correected the problem. I wasnt the one with the problem, but I was about the only one who noticed your advice, and how it solved the issue.

Thanks, I'm glad I could help.
Unfortunately I was speaking from experience. My buddy out here in vegas has a Mark and one day he decided to replace the air bags without my help to sort of prove he could kinda thing and as we're driving away from his house afterward his front end started raising up like that. I didn't realize the sensor had fallon off right away but once I did it was up high enough I could get my hand in there and re install it.Then I had to break out the 8mm and take the battery cable off to reset the computer.I tried turning on and off the system a couple of times and did nothing so thats when I decided to kill power.
Anyway, glad I could help.I still know a few things about these cars. LOL
