seriously thinking about buying..

I don't know much about those, but it looks pretty good! Assuming it had no serious defects, I'd rock it.

Edit: I just noticed the 'rebuilt' status. I'd try and find out the details of that.

Clutch needs service
* Clutch does NOT slip, but
* Clutch does not release properly

typical SHO, the tranny's are the weak spot. my father in laws was exactly the same, the clutch was never right in it, but he got it cheap too and learned to drive it the way it was. it was a fast car for what it was, looked exactly like that one same interior and wheels , but it was red.

Check the SHO message boards though- they have a couple extremely expensive problems and Ford has discontinued some important engine parts... and at the moment, i can't remember what they are.

PITA to work on, getting hard to find parts, clutch is the WORST.... but when they are running right... really fun...

They are kind of like a cousin of the Mark VIII...

I had a '93 automatic. They are fun cars and surprisingly quick, but they are a jerk to work on. I will say that the 5spd cars are easier than the autos if you have to do anything underneath since the tranny is alot smaller. $850 is not too bad of a price.

Good website: www.shoshop.com Edit: Well used to be.
