Hey guys well my service air bag light keeps coming on and off. I was told its due to the drivers seat belt retensioner. I scanned my car and got the following codes.

IRC U1016 History
SDM B0041 History
SDM B0065 CURRENT
TTM U1016 History
Then i cleared the codes and re-scanned it and the code SDM B0065 Came back. Everything else cleared.
I have a red 2000 STS with the tan (shale) interior. I was told the part number was for the left pre-tensioner: 12453410 however, when i looked on GMPARTSDIRECT.COM they didnt have the part number listed and gave me the following e-mail in responce to my request.

88954958 driver seat belt kit, buckle side, shale. Retractor also must be replaced per footnote in the GM parts catalog.
88954965 driver seat belt kit, retractor side, shale.
I was told that all i need to do is replace the drivers side belt buckle since that is where the pre-tensioner is located and that is what is throwing the code. However, GMPARTSDIRECT is telling me to buy the whole belt assembly which is absurd if all i need is a belt buckle. Can anyone help clear this up? Thanks
