Shift points?

Hey guys, my tach is stuck at 2k rpm, doesn't move at all. I'm wondering what the normal shift point is for the 1-2 shift at WOT. My car is shifting at 52 mph, which seems too high given the fact that there's such a power surge when it finally does shift. I wouldn't have to ask this, if my stinking tach actually worked.

52 is right...mine shifts at 5600rpm. I was set to race an 06 6cyl mustang from a light today, and i forgot i was racing and had it in first, and she was crusin through the light, then we got through it and she floored it...so of course i had to too...but i forgot it was in 1st and bulleted ahead of her and bounced off the rev and slammed it into D and chirped like a mofo. ... the rev limiter was at 6700, and i was at bout 58-60mph.
