shock mount nut size?

Aloha Guys.

To make the long story short, I lost two nut, rolled under the house when I was changing front shock. As of now, I have three new nut on each shock mount, and missing one each, which mean I only have three nut holding the upper shock mount.

Does anybody know the size of the nut? I can't go to Ford Dealer until Friday (mky day-off), but I have hardware store near by. My plan is to get the nut from the hardware store for now, and go to Ford dealer later to get the nut with proper nylon insert. I only ask because I work in travel industry and my day-off could change (meaning no day-off until next week).

And no. I'm not driving the car for now, but I may need to as you know, It's holiday season and need to go shopping ( I do have two car. My wife will be using the older but no problem car, and I may end up using our beloved LS with three nut).

Take one of the stock nuts with you and match it up with what they have.

The easy answer then would be to call and ask the Ford dealer......

U talking about the four top nuts on each shock at the front towers?

same as the rears, like these ...

Sorry, I don't have the bag with those numbers on it anymore, I know I have (had) a parts-to-be-ordered shopping list here as well but I can't locate it at the moment.

Yeah, those are the nut I need. But for now, I was able to locate one of the nut I lost under the house. So I'm off to the hardware store to find out what size, and get one regular flanged nut until I can get to the ford dealer. Bad news is that due to my work schedule change, I can only go to the dealer after Christmas.

The "regular" nut would probably be okay if you put Loctite on the bolt threads.
