when i shift from parking to D, the back of the car goes down and levels itself, is this normal for this suspension??

yes. rear wheel drive.

the rear suspension has an 'anti-dive' feature that allows you to brake very hard at high speed and the nose will not dive, the car squats and lowers evenly - keeping you in control and allow more maneuvers.

this also makes it harder to spin the wheels.
