shop manuals...

any idea what they cost new? The two volume factory books for the 00 LS

What I would do is check ebay from time to time and find the DVD version of the manuals. You can get the CD version, but with the CD version you can not interact with it as much as you can with the DVD. :Beer

I bought a cd version a year or two ago and it was crap so i am a bit weary of shopping for software from ebay. I'd really like to have the DVD but I havent seen it in action which is another reason I am steering away from cd/dvd.

I bought both the shop manuals and the wiring manual off e-bay about a year ago. I see there is another set for a '01 on there right now. If you can't find a set for your '00 - you may find the '01 manuals are pretty close.

I have also purchased the DVD (not the CD) - and it is exactly the same as the manuals - only holds all the ford product for a number of years....

Do you recall the sellers name on ebay that you bought the dvd from? I may buy the books for the 01 if I can't find them new.

Thanks for the lead... I scored a set shortly after the last post off of ebay. I got Vol I & II for 65 dollars.

Very good resource. I also have access to alldata.com website and they are very similar in content but I like the book better. Thanks again for looking out. Maybe some of the DIY owners can get in on the bid.

I may try to find the wiring shop manual. I want to figure out if the drivers side window switch can be made to do express roll down for at least the front two possibly all 4.
