My passenger side mirror was shattered, so instead of paying $600 to have it fixed, i bought an entire assembaly from an LVC member for $25 bucks, and replaced it myself. The people at my LM dealer were so kind and helpful in aiding me by getting me the schematics and telling me how to fix it.

Took me about 5 min.

Tools needed...Pry tool.(i just grabbed the first thing i found)

Step 1: Slip the pry tool behind the glass, and pop it out.
Step 2: (Do same thing to donor mirror, unless you just bought new glass)
Step 3: Line up the two teethed strips with the gears on the motors, and Push in untill you hear a click, or snap. (snap doesnt mean its broken)
Step 4: Continue using your side mirror!!!

Ill add pics later tonight

Thanks for posting the pictures... I recently found out why my car stalled out when I turned on the rear window defroster, one of the mirrors is shorting out. Now I know how to take off the mirrors to see. Thanks again
