I bought some halos today and was suprised to see...the signals/parking lights and halos did not work. Ok so I was going to return them, BUT I put my old ones back in and the signals and parking lights still didn't work. It's not the bulbs at all, I dont know what happened, but is screwed the car up by unplugging the headlights!! When I turn the turn signal it signals fast like it does when your bulb is out. Can someone help!!!

Sounds like you blew a fuse. Check fuses #8 and #10 in the passenger side compartment footwell. Also, disconnect the wires coming from the inverter to the wiring harness. It sounds like you have a short in the wires.

I believe it might just be the Fuses. 5A fuses? Should I just go into Auto Zone and ask them for 5 Volt fuses and have them put them on? Number 8 is a PITA to get to.

So...fuses are taken care of. Now the black box on one of the headlights started to smoke and the 5A fuses on the right side headlight blow every time I turn the parking light on. I went to a 15A and well, I saw some smoke. I guess I have a pretty big problem.

Sounds like you have a bad pair of lights. These Lincolns are so sensitive and electronic intensive that I wouldn't leave those lights on your car without testing them first. Did you test them with a 12V source first? Smoke is not good, there's too much current running into that ballast and you don't want to screw up something else on the car.

Sounds like the new lights are the problem.
Did you put the old ones back in with the new fuses and see if it does it.

Have you checked the wiring for your lights? You might have a short and be drawing too much juice. Check your wiring

I think it has a short. I'm not sure how I can test it. I have the old set in now and my angel eyes are just sitting in the garage. I'm not expert on wiring, so what should I do?

You will need to disconnect the inverter box for the angel eyes. There are two sets of wires coming out of the inverter box. There will be white wires on one end and black and red wires on the other. Disconnect the black and red wires from the wiring harness by cutting them or disconnecting the plug. After you do this replace your fuses and check it. More than like the inverter boxes have a short in them.
