Would it impair exhaust flow if i used a single muffler in the mid pipe instead of dual mufflers? The previous owner cut the mufflers off and i am running low on parts money. Maybe a glass pack? What size is the stock pipe?

some people run mid mufflers and rear mufflers.

I wish i had money for duals. I suppose another concern i had was fitting it under there neatly but from you pictures it looks like it will be easy. I would however be using a single inlet outlet muffler as long as i match the pipe size up will a normal generic muffler cause me to lose power?

Itd basically be a Base models exhaust without rear cans.. Lots of base model guys chop their rear cans off for a deeper sound

Stock pipe size is 2-1/4"

Thanks guys i'll go out and grab a single 2 1/4 inch muffler. It doesn't really sound terrible without them but pa inspection is very adamant about mufflers.

Well the car gave me a present today, the previous owner already installed duals. Look like i'll have to drop the coin on a good dual inlet/outlet muffler.
