Yesterday as i parked in a parking lot, i let the car sit as me and my girlfriend talked and next thing i know i smell something almost like somethings burning and the vents start spraying smoke alll over my car. Turned it off looked around it seemed alright but i honestly thought the car was going on fire. It did not overheat but a week ago there was smoke coming from the engine bay told the dealer and they didn't even do anything about it or say anything. What the hell could this be!

Do you know if it was a sweet smell, a electrical smell, or a burning oil or rubber smell?

Smelt like burning oil I thought it was overheating or something, last week it also had a really bad burning oil smell almost like oil on the manifold. My old 5.0 had a rear main seal blew and smelt just like this! Except in this car there is no overheating and the smoke from the engine wasn't as serious. I'm fuming that i brought it in for power steering and SMOKE FROM ENGINE and they fixed neither they didn't even look at the engine and this happens. But back to a week ago i opened the Radiator coolant cap and smoke poured out of there too.

same thing here 02 LS8 W/ 67k I have a warranty so when I find time I have to take it back to the dealership for the 996,511 time

Had the same thing on my last 02 V8. It is from the Valve cover gaskets leaking oil onto the exhaust manifolds. The valve cover gaskets need to be replaced. do a search in here, there are a TON of articles on here about this issue.

My car blew smoke out the vents, and it turned out the AC took a dump, check and make sure that still works. It blew enough smoke to fill the cabin up. then like 2 days later I turned the AC on and it was only blowing hot air.

They had the nerve to tell me "ENJOY THE CAR INSTEAD OF WORRYING ABOUT A PROBLEM" So I now have to sit through this? What the hell do i do here
