I am about 35 miles to the west of D.C. and we have been getting clocked since yesterday. We have close to 2 feet on the ground and I just snapped these about a half hour ago:

First time i have ever seen a Mark igloo before. Wished we got snow like that at least once every 5 years. It snowed here last week about an 1/8th of an inch lol. That's the first snow I have seen here in a few years and before that, maybe an inch 1/2. 1995 was our last "major snow" of a whopping 5 to 8"

That's quite a bit of global warming you've got on your hood there....

They shut down that city when they think they might get 2" of snow on the ground in the morning. Good thing it's the weekend.

was it last week i think we got a couple of days of "snow" people were canceling events two days in advanced, we got less than two inches. i remember we used to get to snow up to the windows now it's just enough to cover the ground

Everything here is closed including all fast food restaurants. One grocery store was open and nothing else.

lol, it comes down here and they call it a cold front, drops are day time high today to 63, then it goes out over the ocean and heads north-east and dumps that on all you guys lol, i love it, because 6 years ago thats what i would have been shoveling, not no more, now i finally get to laugh at others because of it! enjoy it, you get no sympathy from me lmfao!!

wow great pics. I could see a guy on a snowmobile running into that guys mark in your pic rich. Id be out there with stakes and orange spray paint to protect it.

Yeah I'm about an hour north of DC and so far we have about 18 inches! In some spots the wind has drifted it up to over 2 feet. The marks are buried almost up to the door trim. Even my truck has it up to the running boards. 4WD rocks though! I feel your pain man!

yea we got like 13 or so i think.......had to drive to work this morning....wasn't fun, just to turn around and come home....I'll take a pic tomorrow of the marks in the drive all covered

That stuff is going to hit the New York area hardest when im making my nightly deliveries, and My Boss still has not replaced the Flat Dually on the passengers side of the truck.... You know, the side that transfers power to the road. I'm gonna have me a real fun night.

They finally plowed my side street so I am going out now to dig the cars completely out. I have to drive 18 miles to work at 6 A.M. so I have to start now.

I love Da Yoopers, we listen to them every year on the way up to the cabin for opening day.

Da second week of deer camp is da greatest time of year, eh?

I used to have a couple of their tapes, but I'm not sure I still have a working tape deck...

Wow nice snow ... Now you need temps in the 60's to melt it all into your basements LOL

lol, if it happens semi-quickly it will.. If it stays cold your going to have to look at that stuff 4while.

I hope chicago gets one of those. You guys have the ocean to feed that moister though.
