Solid Rubber motor Mounts?

as far as i have seen thats about it.

Rich @MN12 Performance should have them, he supplies EVERYONE with the poly for the FN10's and MN12's.

Just yank your mounts and weld them up, we have been doing this for years, they are DEAD solid and dirt cheap this way.

Yeah, Thaks Geno. I'd rather not jerry rig motorounts. Call me simple like that. If I do something, I'd rather do it right, and not cut corners with welding up crap when there is a better alternative.

There's no "jerry riggin'" going on, it's a proffesional weld and mine have been like this since 1998 and still to this day they look just like they did when they went in. When it's done right it will last forever.

What exactly are you welding, the 2 plates on either side of the actual mount. He is not looking for solid mounts, I think.

gotta wrap a band of steel arround it and weld that.

I've tig'd a few different modular sets together. no problems with any of them thus far. But I can understand where frogman is comming from. If I know anything about what he has going in, a few bucks for motor mounts is the last thing on his mind.

the welding thing is good, as long as you do it right. i tried to jerry rig the mounts and i snapped the weld right off in bout 10 min... but for 10 min, it felt very good.
