Did the interior black and finished up the brakes finally.

Now I have to pull the rear and powdercoat thr ladder links and all.

Painted all the inner fenderwells and wheel tubs satin black.

Polished the rims in the back, they were and still are rough but look 10x better.

Also compounded and waxed the paint. Came up pretty good since it was painted in 1986.

PS I need a drivers door panel for this car in black with any color rug. If anyone knows of any please let me know.

Not too shabby... I thought we had a mutual agreement about those stripes! What kind of compound and tools did you use?

Man looking at your T/A brought back some ole memories.
This was mine in the early eighties.

This one wasn't mine, I got if off Ebay a while back.
If you havn't decided on a color when you get around to painting, you gotta admit this one is one hell of a car.
The wheels look fantastic.

NICE!!!

Give me one of those old T/A's over a Lincoln any day of the week!

I used my Snap On buffer and 3M™ Perfect-It™ III Extra Cut Rubbing Compound.
Then IBIZ for the wax.

I will be buffing off the stripes this week.

Im just buffing off the stripes and leaving it the red. This is a budget build!!

Yes thats THE only rust in the entire car. Ive known this car since new it was my neighbors Dads originally. I can get patch panels for that area cheap too.

What happened to it?

Coming home from work one night, at five oclock, on the bussiest freeway in the country, it caught fire.
I had extinguishers on board, but it was too intense to put out.
With all the traffic, there was no way the fire department could reach it in time to save it.
That T/A was one eye catchin son of a bitch.
Matter of fact, I was returning home yesterday when a 79 black trans am passed me on the freeway.
It looked brand new.
Loved it, and I swear if I ever won a lottery, another 79 would be parked in my driverway.

Excellent. Clean that buffer up boy! Haha what the hell do you have caked all over it?

Haha I mean the machine not the pad. Looks like you rubbed polish all over it.

Oh no that buffer was one of my first when we opened up my Detailing shop in 90!! LOL!! Still works like new just doesn't look pretty anymore. LOL!

LOL yeah if I want to remortgage my existance on Earth then yes I would have a Pontiac in it. It will have a 496 inch stroker BBC on BIG spray.

It did have a Pontiac in it when my Buddy Paul had it. It was running 8's.
