Smoked a 2001 mustang GT with my 2000 LS today. hahahahahahahahahaha. Now before you say anything (Fl02ls), give me the chance to explain to you on why i was driving like an ":q:q:q:q:q:q:q". I get off work, jumped onto 101 S, merge onto the freeway like normal, jumped on the fast lane, and out of nowhere.......a white mustang. Starts to tail me as if I were driving ms. daisy..... I keep my composure, stayed at 75mph. He was still on me after we took the exit. Then he changed lane and started to weave thru traffic....giving other drivers the finger. At that point I really didn't mind because he was already ahead of me. We get to a stop light (Lundy and Hostetter) and he swerves back to my lane......right behind me.....AGAIN. Tails me to the next stoplight (Flickinger and Hostetter) and pulls up on my lefthand side. Stared at me as if I didn't know how to drive. So we waited for the green. Red, Red, Red, Red, for a good 15 seconds....thinking about smokin his Mustang. As soon as it turned green, we both dropped it. Nuff said, chirped off the line and smoked him. He TRIED to catch up, but just couldn't do it. I didn't even turn off my Traction Control. Next stop light comes, he turns left and guess what........he gives me the finger. 2 words.......SORE LOSER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2 MORE WORDS HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO EVERYONE IN HERE....EVEN THE CADDY'S. :) I LOVE MY 2000 LINCOLN LS SPORT. I'm serious, 250hp pushing the rear????????? (Yes, I am aware that Ford owns Lincoln and Jaguar, but still.........SCREW the Mustang!!!)
 
Great Story, that will teach the mustang not to mess with a LINCOLN!!!!
 
Not only does the guy sound like a jerk, he doesn't know how to drive! A 2001 Mustang GT weighs less than a LS and has more hp.

Actually, it's about heads up on the hp. Very little difference. And if he was an automatic, he has lousy gearing too....plus worse gearing in the tranny. That's a totally believable story and I'm sure you shocked him.

Oh yea...you would be amazed at how heavy those Mustangs are. They are lighter than the LS...but no where hear as much as you would think.

However, I've got a Mustang for you to try..... :p :D
 
LOL I was driving down an empty road and some kid was messing with me in his converable 02 v6 stang (5 speed) and I had my girl and She was telling me to blow him away....this guy tried me 3 time ones from a dead stop once from like 20 roll and onces from a 45 roll 3 wins for me.....Then at the light the kid says o if I had my car I would beat you....my girl says what do you drive....UH UH A WRX STI!!! So my girl says well then I guess I would have to go in the trunk and open the bottles!! BITCH!!!! I ABOUT PISSED MY PANTS LAUGHING!!!!!! She is great.......LOL I hate that piss poor excuse ITS not my car....
 
Nice kill, I never rag on anyone for racing unless its in a dangerous area like streets where people walk or heavy traffic. All my races take place on either this i485 which is never crowded or on hwy74 which can get crowded but when your on the "front line" there is typically nobody up ahead if the guy/gal next to you wants to go at it.

Do not race much in the LS though unless the person is just asking to get showed up.

Unfortunately, even with the bottles, you stand a good chance of getting owned by that Subaru. Some of them are plain nasty.

Someone in my area! What on ramp to 101? I live in Palo Alto and work in Cupertino. What time of day was it? Nice victory.
 
I dont know what he had but The punk could not really drive to well.....I have a fealing if he had one I could have raped him also.....100shot vs STOCK WRX could be owned no problem....But we will have to see.....I am getting the one bottle filled this week....I am gonna try and get to the track also but school is on track night maybe Ill get out early.....

:shifty: You couldnt be more right with that statement....I know a guy down the street from me He is about 40ish (not sayin he's old be Im only 20 so)he drives a white one and its the family car....but my god when the kids are home this car changes they are damn quick I was looking into getting one before the lincoln but Back then they didnt have stero's in them and the insurance was out of this world....I think this will be the next car I buy though....I just love the sound of the boxster motor also.....
