I want to add tweeters to my all factory alpine 6 disc cd changer (not in dash) i am thinking of installing the tweeters in the door panels in that little triangle space that each door has on top would it be an easy install , would i need to install the crossovers too??, and is it possible to add more bass to the sound system and keeping everything else stock?? what product do you recommend?? :feedback

the radio shack tweeters aren't bad with no crossovers. Also I got a $50 amp from circuit city, 220 watts rms, get that and a sub maybe a single 12. It will be cheap for great improvements.

If I could be so bold, I would suggest changing the front speakers to a good set of 2 or 3 ways. Keeping the stock front speakers and adding a tweet is kinda awkward, though the tweeter would look good. Get a decent 4 channel amp, mounted where the stock one is supposed to be, add a single 10' sub, bridged off 2 channles and get the other 2 channles to run your fronts. Shouldn't cost you more than $600 for decent stuff (like Alpine).
