I'll be dropping in my stereo this weekend and was wondering if anybody else has put a nice stereo into their cars?
I'll try and get some photos up shortly.

I put in a stereo...nothing to special
JVC Headunit
JVC 6 1/2's (modified the 5 1/2 bracket)
JVC 6 x 9's
Sony XPLOD 600W 4 Channel amp
Redid all speaker wires in 16 Ga.

This summer I wand to get a new JVC head-unit, not really a better one performance wise, it will look better in the conti dash though. I also want to get 2 12's in the trunk(Audiobahn or MTX), another amp for those, and an EQ.

I also put a system in my car... Pioneer hedunit, pioneer ipod adaptor, kicker 5 1/4" compoents, 2 12" kicker CRV, 2 Orion Amps (1 mono, 1 two channel) stinger and knukoncept wiring and a BIG3

What are you planning on doing, and what year car?

Well, my plan is a rather ambitious one.
It's all going to be put into my 94' Exec.

I will be installing a Car PC in my conti. With a flip out touch screen replacing the stock deck. It's going to run source wires down to the PC that I plan to mount inside the centre console.
All in all I plan to run usb wi/fi and gps, 250GBs of storage for my music collection and have a more unique conti.

The audio it all hooks into is a pair of 12" rockford fosgate HE subs, powered by an MTX 4001. The four channels will be done off of an MTX 4004 and all the wiring is stinger.

It's going to be a really neat project but like I said, I'll get pictures when I can.
I will definately be creating a worklog to show what my team and I did.

thats sounds awsome.. i also have a 94 so i know you will have alot of room to work with. You can probably hide the external drive or somethin under under that compartment behind the back deck.. or a PS2 that would be nifty.

I forgot, I also have a JVC ipod interface hooked up as well

Also, for more spaces, you have another hidden din hole behind the digital clock for drives/ps2 etc.

Wow, thanks guys, I wasnt aware there was another din of space.
I dont think I'll have enough room for the ps2 in there but thats ok, I need to be able to load the discs.

As for having ample space, you'll see in the work log, but there really isnt that much. I'm actually going to be modifying the centre console to accomodate the mini ATX board.

As far as projects go, this one should be pretty straight forward. Which is definately a plus.
