I really dint know where to post this but I figure since allot of you are in FL, you might want a crack at these.
I went to FL last week to watch the final launch of Space Shuttle Discovery (flight STS 133) but the mission was scrubbed and I don’t have any vacation left to go back, next launch window is November 30th- December 6th. I saw a lunch back in April from 20 miles away and it was a high light of my life! I really wish I could have seen this one up close!

I have
-2 Adult Viewing tickets at the visitor center
-2 Adult tickets to view from the astronaut hall of fame
-1 parking placard
I would hate to see these go to waste so hope fully someone can use them.

The date says Nov 1st but they are good for whenever it launches. $300 OBO

I was in Florida last year, about the time they were going to launch the shuttle, I was half tempted to go, but they postponed it until the week after we left. So we went to Kennedy Space Center instead.

That's always the problem and the reason why I've never seen a launch in person.
The likelihood the launch is delayed is too high to warrant the early morning and six hours in the car.

I'm too much of a space nerd to let that stop me but unfortunetly my boss is not. It was on my bucket list to at least see it once, I just wanted a chance durring the day too.

That first picture is Discovery last week, when I was down there and the other one is STS131 back in april.

...it does seem like it might be worth the inconvenience to head out there on the 30th....

Looks like www.spacex.com is still a few years away from a reliable and consistent launch vehicle. I just hate to think about all that damn money going to the Russian’s, good thing our economy is so great we can boost there's...

Everybody should see a space shuttle launch in person at least once. Cool experience.

Frogman is right. I was there for the first Shuttle launch back in the early 80's.
it was a sight to be seen. ill remember it for the rest of my life.
