I desperately want to learn first hand about how these engines work, and to build up my own. Im looking to just get one outa a junked car. After i learn all the ups and downs, ins and outs of this motor, im planning on doing a forged stroker kit, head swap, cams, valve train upgrade, and a sulivan intake. I just want one to work on at my own leasure, instead of having to worry about meeting a deadline to keep my car on the street. Will any Lincoln 32v 4.6 bolt right up? I found this one on ebay.

i think its from a navi?

That is a Continental 4.6 dohc engine, it won't work in rwd applications.

I have that one at the shop I can sell ya' The one with the blown head gasket. Thats a great learner.

how much

also, with high lift cams w/ high lift valvetrain upgrade, head swap a sulivan intake, and a 302 stroker kit, with 20 over bore...do you think its possible to have 380-400 hp at the fly? (thinking about 10.1-6:1 comp)

Sullivan doesn't have an intake out yet for B heads. They were working on one but it never materialized. To use the Sullivan Intake, you will need the C heads or 03 heads. BTW, yes you can have 400hp flywheel easily with all those things you mentioned.

I was thinking of switching over to heads off of an 03 mach 1 anyways.

That should be one nasty project once it gets goin.
