I have 2 sets of JL AUDIO XR570-cxi components and was wondering if I can run these off the factory deck or do I have to run an amp with them? It says 70 watt continuous amp recommended. Thanks!

I own a car audio shop here in Reno and would not recommend running any components on a deck factory or aftermarket. Get a 4 channel amp to push those XR's
If anybody needs any equipment let me know I carry:

Crossfire
Eclipse
JVC
Kenwood Excelon
JL Audio
I might not be able to beat some of these internet prices but I have what most of them dont have WARRANTY.

I just remembered your previous post. Did you ever post any pictures of your car? Also, can I mount my 2 amps under the rear speaker shelf since there is nothing there anyway?

Hey I just finished the install and was wondering if someone can help me with the crossover points. The manual doesn't say much which is pretty disappointing for such an expensive set of speakers. I have the high pass on and the crossover set to 85 hz. Is this about right? I also have the JL Audio 6x9 in the rear package tray and I have them set around 60 hz. Thanks!
