speaker upgrade?

Hey, I came across some Pioneer 6" 3 ways when I was cleaning a car for the auction at the dealership I work at. I was wondering if it would make a difference if I put them in my car to replace my 6x8's in the front. What do you all think? Currently, I have Pioneer 6x8 3 ways in the front and stock in the back. My plan would be to put the old pioneers in the back and the 6"ers in the front. I dont have the audiophlie system by the way. Thanks in advance.

They will help. You would need to make a little brack to take up the opening on either side, should be easy since it's only an inch.

BTW, can anyone clarify which cars got 5X7's and which got 5X8's?
