On my '90 TC the digital speedo reads 62 mph when I'm running around 67 mph. Followed my son's T-bird and I timed it thru a few MPMs at 55 seconds to a mile. It has the correct size tires via what it says on the side walls. I know different manufactures are a little different in tire height. Is there a way to reset/recalibrate a speedo? Or do I change a speedo driven gear? Go with shorter tires which might not look as good? Or live with it?
It's tough to be staring at 62-63 mph in a 65 zone because the thing rides so nice and quiet compared to my F250HD that I feel like I'm doing around 50-55.

my Town Cars is off my a 1-2 mph but not as much as yours. I don't know how it can be fixed but I am guessing that it needs it be changed from the tranny sensor or something

thats not that bad at all...you can go have it re-calibrated at any tranny shop of or the dealership, but it will cost you an arm and a leg!!!

i changed my size rims n tires, and now i loose about 10 mph on the highway!!!
