I can't seem to find Sprint Lowering Springs for a 2005 LS V8. Are Eibachs as good as Sprints? Might as well as replace the shocks too while im at it eh? Goodbye deployment money :(

Eibachs are the only springs available for the LS now it seems, other than OEM obviously.

I think theyre pretty close to the same, just dont lower it as much. Also IMO the price difference was a little skewed to the 'paying for the name' side.

Andy...I want to have hot sex with your LS. What size are your rims, and how far did you drop your suspension!? It looks perfect...are they Eibachs?

:q:q:q:q my life :(

Woah easy there! Lol i only i engage in the sex with her.

It is 1.75" per springtech's specs. However i think it is closer to just over 2".

And thanks for the compliment :)

Would 1.5 Eibachs look close to that? What size rims are those!? Sorry, i'll try to contain my lust. But I gotta admit...it looks like sex on wheels.

PS

Would these fit on a 2005 Lincoln LS V8? Why does it only go to 2000-2004? What is the difference?! WHY ME WHY!?!?!?!

Amazon.com: Sprint Lowering Springs 2000-2004 Lincoln LS V8: Automotive

And the Eibachs on LSkoncepts website only goes 1" drop! WHY!?!?!?! GOD!!!.......please help :(

Eibach only makee the 1 - 1.1" drop springs.

Sprint and Springtech made the 1.75 ones. But they are basically impossible to find. Alot of websites like the one u posted show them, but if you place an order you will soon realize theyre out of stock.

This is because neither company makes them anymore and all dealers are sold out. There may be a secret stash in a warehouse somewhere, but no one has found any.

The wheels are 19"

I wander how the Eibach 1/1.2" drop looks like with 19"s.

Any clue?! Dude...thanks for the help man.

NYC LS8 had eibachs with 19's. RollinLs has eibachs with 19's, he said they have dropped about 1.75'' instead of the supposed 1''

A few threads have come up from people lookins for sprints and they all say the same thing, not found anywhere een if they say they are in stock, they aren't. There was even a craigslist add with them for cheap but I doubt anybody picked them up. You might get lucky to find a set on ebay, but it's going to be very hard to come across

so i was on sprintspring.com and they allowed me to add it to the car but i couldn't go any farther then that with out signing up for the website

the ones listed on amazon are sold out since 6 weeks ago...

sprintspring.com has had my account in "credit card captured" for the past month and the status says "not yet shipped" and calling them gives me voicemail right away with no reply after any messages i leave...

sprints, springtechs and intrax are pretty much no longer available ANYWHERE!

i think i'm just going to get the eibachs next week...

i highly doubt that every place has been contacted about the springs

I called about five or six during my search. Cant remember what they were obviously, except the place that had them! lol

Also I think when they look it up, it is by part number - and the thunderbird would have the same part # anways - so it should still show up.

honestly, your not even going to notice the .1" more that the rear will drop

Yea you have to realize how small a tenth of an inch is... Also there are many more factors that would affect front/rear drop before a .1" difference in spring.

Like say for example, how much stuff you have in your trunk, how much you weigh as a driver, and passengers etc.

did you try octanemotorsports.com

so how did you find this site?

i called them and immediately placed an order for their last set! the thing is, the springs are used on their former show car (around 4-5k miles on them, they are "presettled", lol) so they sold the springs at a discount - 135 shipped! (and to think i made an offer of 300 shipped to someone in the past...)

lets hope they are really sprints and they should be here in a week... CAN'T WAIT!!!

Suspension swap party the following Saturday after getting the spring. Photo shoot session soon after. Calendar submission shortly later :D

your welcome..... lol i typed lincoln ls sprint springs and that site popped up, your gonna love it, i'm about to wash mine and go take some new pics

Showcar? They had an LS showcar? for what?

sounds strange... but nice deal!

this is what they sent me in the e-mail:

"Just noticed that we do have used Sprint Springs for V8 (3.9L) that came off our company show vehicle. They were used for about 4-5 months on the vehicle and they are still in good condition."
