My '03 LS V-8 Sport has a squeaking noise in the steering wheel when turning the wheel at low speeds......the L-M service guy (who is better than most) tells me he's only seen it in '03 and '04 LS's, and it usually involves a bushing rubbing against another part, but they've got to keep it a couple of days, and get down into the steering column to find out what......I've only got about 25,000 miles on the car, and it just started doing it about 1,000 miles ago......he says it's not critical, won't hurt the functioning of the steering, etc.......However, since that car is still under warranty, and has FREE MAINTENANCE up to 36,000 miles, I'm going to let him check it out when I get my next oil change---soon.......I do know that '03 is when they went to the "speed sensitive" steering on the LS, maybe that's got something to do with it.......otherwise, I've had no problems with the car-----hauls ass, and is a gas to drive......love my LS!!!........has anybody else had a similar problem?.........thanks, guys........
