A 1991 Mercury Colony Park wagon came home with me last Thursday. I had owned an '84 Colony Park for more than ten years and I missed it. Anyway, I know it's not a Lincoln or a Cadillac, but the same principles apply here.
The Mercury has lots of aluminum and stainless trim in lieu of the chrome trim of days of yore. Much of the trim has tarnish and water marks. I have been using Mother's Mag Wheel Polish so far, with so-so results. Does anyone have a particular product/method they prefer and have received good results with?
I know I can have the trim removed and professionally buffed, as I did this with my 1961 Lincoln convertible. But I'd rather go a less expensive route with the Mercury, which is to serve as a parts hauler.
Thanks,
RB3
