For those of you who like the Star Wars genre you will certainly like this film. I saw it at a theatre that is sometimes known for it's patrons getting vocal during the movie. You could have heard a pin drop during the whole film.

I wouldn't give anything away but all the loose ends are very nicely tied up. Try to see it a theatre that has digital projection and sound. It greatly enhanced the experience. Boy, was there a line at the bathroom after the show as no one left their seat during the 2 1/2 hour performance.

My experience was further enhance by reading 3/4 of the book leaving the unknown as an added value.

Being that I live in the sticks of Wisconsin, I'll have to wait a few months yet to see it.

Unless I want to spend the extra money and drive to a larger city. Yes, Boscobel does have a movie theater. Only $3.00 per person, pop, $.50, and same with popcorn. Also only $1.00 for candy treats.

A family of 4 can go to them movies for only $20.00!

I saw it yesterday and it was great! It has been sold out almost everywhere since it opened.

Lots of action. Even had 3 or so spots that were quite funny. I caught a glimpse of the Millenium Falcon in one of the shots. The best of the first 3 Star Wars movies.

Okay, here's my review. George Lucas doesn't know how to write dialogue. That has not changed. But the action is non-stop. The special effects are the best yet. Some cool light saber fight scenes. And poor Darth Vader; that was worse than I expected. I kept looking for Han Solo to show up in some scene as a snot-nosed punk kid, but he never did. But like Barry said, everything tied up nice and neat to set up Star Wars Episode IV. If you like Star Wars at all, see this movie. And also like Barry said, there's nothing like the big screen, digital sound movie experience. I give it a 6 on a scale of 1 to 10.

Kbob, I'd have to agree with marine. It was almost a 9 in my estimation. Reading the book really made quite a difference. I would agree that the dialogue could have used some help.

This film represents the future of digital video. Pretty soon you'll not know if you are looking at living beings or total animation. The close-ups of Yoda blew me away.

It is kinda scary that soon they'll be able to make the news rather than report on it. Incredible stories become credible with accompanying video.

great movie.. its downloadable if you can find... it.. hint.... abc torrent

I'll compromise with you and give it a 7.5. Better acting and dialogue would have pushed this even higher. Still a can't miss for the eye-candy alone on the big screen.
