Research for a possible new(ish) car that is. I went to Town And Country Ford after not getting any help at Dale Jarrett Ford which is right near me so I drove way out of my way to look for some nice used Mustangs. Got to T&C and was greeted as I got out of the LS by a salesman and told him I was not looking to buy now or for that matter, anytime soon but I did want to look at some 'stangs, v6 would alright but when there is v8, it doesn't hurt to check out. So we went from 'stang to 'stang checking 'em out and he said we should take an '06 GT out except they did not have a 5-spd one besides the one in the showroom. I said that is fine I guess and he got the keys and a plate for one of the autos out front.
Got in and was like, this is one, definitaly different feeling from the LS. Started it up let it warm up alittle and were off. Was not really a great route to open it up but I did get on it once and was like whoa, the LS gets you head to go back but this felt much better lol. I was pretty impressed w/ it and think an auto would be enough but of course I still want to take a manual out just to compare and see if I'd like to be shifting gears again. If the 'stang was not so powerful than a manual would be a must.
Second car I checked out but did not test drive was an new Mini Cooper-S. Wow is all I have to say, it fits my personality and just looks soo neat. I talked to the salesman for awhile about it and I tell you this is the car that took the new civic off the top of the list. Guy said when I wanted to test drive one to come back so I'll definitely be doing that before I'm done looking at everything I am considering.
