Research for a possible new(ish) car that is. I went to Town And Country Ford after not getting any help at Dale Jarrett Ford which is right near me so I drove way out of my way to look for some nice used Mustangs. Got to T&C and was greeted as I got out of the LS by a salesman and told him I was not looking to buy now or for that matter, anytime soon but I did want to look at some 'stangs, v6 would alright but when there is v8, it doesn't hurt to check out. So we went from 'stang to 'stang checking 'em out and he said we should take an '06 GT out except they did not have a 5-spd one besides the one in the showroom. I said that is fine I guess and he got the keys and a plate for one of the autos out front.

Got in and was like, this is one, definitaly different feeling from the LS. Started it up let it warm up alittle and were off. Was not really a great route to open it up but I did get on it once and was like whoa, the LS gets you head to go back but this felt much better lol. I was pretty impressed w/ it and think an auto would be enough but of course I still want to take a manual out just to compare and see if I'd like to be shifting gears again. If the 'stang was not so powerful than a manual would be a must.

Second car I checked out but did not test drive was an new Mini Cooper-S. Wow is all I have to say, it fits my personality and just looks soo neat. I talked to the salesman for awhile about it and I tell you this is the car that took the new civic off the top of the list. Guy said when I wanted to test drive one to come back so I'll definitely be doing that before I'm done looking at everything I am considering.

I like the Mini's too. Everyone has a new mustang, and not many people have a nice Mini. There is a dark purple mini driving around my area and it is very impressive. I cant say that for the mustangs. Yes of course there are mustangs that make you turn your head and look as it speeds by, but the mini's are a different animal. Not to crack the mini but i hear comments from girls where they say how Cute they are, Mini's are pretty stangs are ballsy.

Some mini's have that cute factor, the S I looked at was kind of like that but it was so damn nice. Girls are wierd when it comes to describing a car anyway, a girl at my g/fs school said my LS was sooooooo pretty whenever I'd be sitting there waiting for my g/f to get out.

I do not care if the Mini is called cute anyhow, cute well be fine for a nice car that gets up and moves and can out maneuver a ballsy stang in the twistys and I'm sure it would be way more fun too. I could see myself in the Mini much longer than the 'stang and that is what cancelled out the 'stang and made me almost forget I test drove one. Not that the 'stang is not nice, but for me, a smaller nimbler car w/ a fun factor of 10 is perfect. I won't be surprised to be owning one in the near future unless I find a mint MR-2(early to mid 90's model).

Yea the Minis are cool, the interior is kind of roomy too. I sat in one once, really liked the quality. The handling on that car must really be something crazy because all of the wheels are pushed to the corners as much as possible. The S has a good power too, 168hp, that's a lot for a small and light car like that. It makes 0-60 in 6.8 seconds and has top speed of 134mph, not bad at all. Also, the BMW makes em, so you know what you'll be getting....

I likes.

I got a mini around here. the guy is at all the bars im at, thinks hes the :q:q:q:q. hes sponsored by bfgoodrich and has 20s in it (has to be a terrible ride), all graphics, baby blue color. the plate says G MINI. Quite the feminen car but still looks pretty cool if that makes any sense.
