hey all - newbie to the group here...have read most of the threads in the past year. im crusing into late 30's and havent worked on a car myself since i was in my early 20's and had a couple of chevelles.

first let me say, i have been waiting a long time to find a good mark 8 - i have had mine for about a year now and it is a non-LSC all stock in mint condition but has 104,000 miles on it (i put 10k on it in last year).

i have a wicked all alpine system (except for the cabin speakers, which are stock jbl and sound just fine) from nav to xm - amp to headunit and sub. i realize at 104k miles, im going to have to start replacing a few things and as such, will begin the mods to the car...but i wont have time to do them myself. i will watch the postings, pick up some pointers from you guys and i have a couple of great mechanics that will do anything i need them to do.

ill probably be contacting geno for some lms stuff within the next month and i did have one silly question - how do i fix the neon tail lamp? it just went out last night and im baffled as to how i can get around paying 800+ for a new replacement unit. i dont mind spending money but that seems stupid.

ill post some pics of the car this week and i hope nobody minds some simple questions from time to time...hope to meet up with some of you sometime at a show or event.

thanks for reading this sillyass long posting -

Ask and they will answer. Long post? try reading one of mine and staying awake. Anyway the guys here are pretty good about answering questions. I just joined in March myself and already been given some amazing advice that I'd like to try out soon. I haven't met any one in person yet, but they all seem like a good group. Well have fun and enjoy your Mark. :steering

First of all welcome to the LvC, secondly, just let me say that is nice having more members from Mass, don't forget to join the NE Chapter.
