If you are selling an item, and someone buys it...have the damn decency to send it when you say. On top of that, communicate with the buyer! :mad:

This has happened twice now, and I am getting royally pissed. First it was a member here, who dicked me around for over 2 weeks before they sent what I bought. Funny how quick it got resolved when I filed a claim with paypal.

So here we go again, a week later. Buy a set of wheels off a guy on tccoa on Monday. Said his wife shipped them Tuesday morning. No tracking number or anything is sent to me. So I call and get ahold of him on Thursday. Said he was driving home, and would shoot me the tracking info in a few hours and I should have them by today.

Well never got the tracking numbers again, and no return call yesterday or today when I called again. Just called again, and big surprise, no answer.

Plan on filing a paypal claim tonight and see if that gets me any response. This is seriously starting to piss me off to the point to where it isn't even worth it to mod the car, unless I can afford new from a vendor...which is no means cost efficient.
 
It seems like I keep getting screwed as well. I feel when I sell stuff I go above and beyond, but when i buy stuff im the one getting screwed.

Exactly. I work my ass off to buy this stuff. Modding my car, my way is something I really enjoy. So every time this happens, it kills that feeling. If you do have a hang up when shipping my stuff, say something. Don't ignore me, until I start taking more drastic actions before you reply.
 
i had some guy harassing me on this forum because i didn't get him a tracking number right away, i told him i would get it to him when i got home later that night

I am more patient than that. After not getting the tracking numbers for a day I called, and he said I would get it in a few hours. Last time I heard from him and that was days ago.

He has a business account with paypal, so I would like to think I am not getting scammed, but I plan on filing a claim tonight if I don't hear anything from him.

All I want is proof that it is in the mail.

That too! 3 weeks ago, I was supposed to get my windows tinted. Was told as I was getting ready to head down, it couldn't be done that day and it would have to be the next day. Said fine, guess what...haven't heard from him since. :rolleyes:
 
I am in the same position right now. I bought a set of 4.10 gears from a guy with a 220 feedback rating and 100% positive. I bought them Feb 2nd and he claimed he sent them the next day. I still do not have them. I asked for a tracking number and he didn't get one. Who in the world doesn't get a tracking number? I asked for a refund and he said he would give one, but it has been two days now and still no money. I have 45 days through Ebay to file a claim and I am almost to the 30 day mark. If I don't have money back in my Paypal account tomorrow I will have to file a claim.
 
I just filed a paypal claim. I can escalate it tomorrow. There is no way I could wait 30 days before taking action. Yeah I am probably jumping the gun, but I don't care.

If someone can't be bothered to talk to on the phone for 2 min to give me proof you fulfilled your obligation. Then I am not going to wait for you too get the money out of your account and cause me more headaches.

Ideally the wheels will show up tomorrow, but I am not counting on it at all. Which sucks, since they are the exact wheels I wanted.

I have got to the point were I will only deal with well known members.

i am bad about fast shipping sometimes only because i work alot of hours during the week and then have so much work in my shop on the weekends, i dont even get to spend time with my kids or wife lately, i leave for work at 7 am, and usually get home after the kids go to bed, it sucks, i can get behind on alot of things its very hard to keep up. but if i have a problem i like to make the customer aware of it, i dont hide from it, sounds like the ones you are dealing with are just blowing you off. hope you get it resolved easily.
 
Well I am going to call UPS tomorrow to see if they show anything heading to my address, since they are the only thing I am expecting right now.

I plan on escalating my paypal claim in the morning, and call the guy again for the 5th or 6th time.

I understand about getting tied up, and not making it to the post office, but atleast say something. I know you would Jamie. Really makes me mad, that that this is the 2nd time this month I have dealt with this issue. Before this, I haven't had to use the paypal claim service in the 7 or so years I have been buying stuff online.

I just don't understand, why bother trying to scam people. If someone screws me, I WILL get my money back, and pursue every avenue I can to nail them to the wall.

Especially this day and age, I am on a few car sites that love tracking down scammers, and putting them through the ringer.
 
I used to be bad about ship times to, the day just gets busy and goes by, I don't leave till near 6 and the local shipping place closes at 6. But I sold those rotors the other day, shipped them two hours after paid and sent the tracking numbers an hour after that........hows dat fer service:D
 
The guy sent me my money. I told him that he needs to get tracking numbers for everything he ships in the future.

At this point I am 99% sure I got scammed. Guy has until the 11th to respond to the paypal claim. I found another number listed as customer service on the guys paypal account.

Called, and it was his brother who answered. Said he should be home by 6 tonight. So I am going to call again tonight and see if I can get a hold of the guy.

I want to nail him on mail fraud if he wont respond to me tonight. Since I paid through paypal, and he was supposed to ship via UPS, with whom would I file?
 
I would call him out on TCCOA. I left the guy I dealt with positive feedback anyway since he refunded the money. The USPS has sucked lately.
